About Us

Brisbane Road Runners Club (formerly known as the Queensland Marathon and Road Runners Club) was established in 1982. Our events, which are conducted generally every second Sunday, are open to Club members and visitors alike.
Events are conducted on an accurately measured 5k course along Riverside Drive at West End, Brisbane.  For distances longer than 5k, multiple loops are used.
Electronic timing is used for accurate lap/finish times and a timing clock is positioned near the start/finish line. All runs have police permits, marshals, and two water stations on the course. A light breakfast of fresh fruit and sports drink is provided.
Members pay no race entry fees and are able to pre-register online for our events in the lead-up to each event.
Visitors are welcome at our events and can register in person on the morning of each event prior to the start of the race.  The entry fee for visitors is $10 (adults) and $5 (under 18 years).
If you would like more information about individual events scheduled throughout the year, you can view these at Event Details. Our events are a great way of meeting like-minded people, swapping running experiences and challenging yourself to achieve your running goals.
Brisbane Road Runners Club events start and finish at the South Brisbane Sailing Club, 70 Hill End Terrace, West End – see Location Details and Map.  Click Membership page to join BRRC or renew your membership.
Happy running with BRRC…
